The Year Ahead and What We are Learning
We’re beginning the second quarter of 2021 and HIP continues to move quickly in adapting to a new normal, for now. As we proceed with caution and move towards new business practices, tools, and technologies, we have held ourselves as frontrunners in adapting to hybrid learning, collaborating, developing new initiatives, and holding steadfast to our core values.
We’re beginning the second quarter of 2021 and HIP continues to move quickly in adapting to a new normal, for now. As we proceed with caution as well as optimism and move towards new business practices, tools, and technologies, we have held ourselves as frontrunners in adapting to hybrid learning, collaborating, developing new initiatives, and holding steadfast to our core values.
Last year was a testament to HIP’s adaptability. For our Frontline Leadership Training, which is typically held as a 2-day workshop in person, we joined countless others in asking, how do we successfully deliver this workshop virtually? In planning and executing training delivery we encountered many obstacles that we had to overcome, but all in the name of change.
Our Frontline Leadership Training offers participants hands-on opportunities to learn practical strategies in relevant content areas, such as communication, conflict management, performance evaluation, and motivation, and successfully engaging employees in a virtual work environment. Leadership competency in managers is improved through influencing and impacting their staff.
Our training connects the best of in-person training and successfully reimagines organizational design as it shifts roles and requirements to a virtual platform. As always, feedback is still invaluable as we tread these waters of change in the workplace. The more we navigate and embrace ‘room for improvement’, the more workforces are empowered to create and lead.
We are proud to report that the annual contract performance evaluation we received from the U.S. Department of the Treasury for our Frontline Leadership training yielded exceptional ratings across all performance categories.
“[Treasury] has been extremely pleased with the quality of service from Telling Your Story, LLC. They [HIP] have reacted quickly and professionally to unexpected changes related to COVID and consistently delivered excellent courses. They quickly re-formatted classes to be provided in a virtual format, provided technology solutions and support to shift classes to the virtual environment with little effort on [Treasury’s] part. Many of our attendees were skeptical of virtual leadership training, but we received consistent and overwhelmingly positive feedback from all course attendees.”
